Meet the Family Behind Historic Home Rescue
Seven years ago we began restoring our own 1910 home.
Along the way we learned something surprising:
Historic homes are rarely lost because nobody cares.
They are lost because the people who care often lack the resources, knowledge, or support needed to save them.
That's why Historic Home Rescue exists.
Our Current Project
Meet Scarlet
Scarlet is a turn-of-the-century Southern mansion that evokes memories of the grand homes of another era.
When we first saw her, others saw dirt, decay, neglect, and rot. We saw something different. We saw beauty. We saw history. We saw potential.
For years — perhaps decades — Scarlet has waited. Her walls have witnessed generations of stories, triumphs, heartbreaks, and change. Though time has taken its toll, we believe she still has more life to live.
Today, Scarlet is in desperate need of restoration and repair. The challenges are immense, and the road ahead will not be easy. But we believe she can be revived — not just as a house, but as a living piece of history.
